I grew up on 2,000-acre farm and ranch in the Texas Panhandle where there were no trees to block my 360-degree view of the horizon. As a young boy on a tractor with no cab, no radio, and no power steering I was mesmerized by the huge, multicolored, spectacular storm clouds boiling upward in the High Plains sky. As they filled the horizon my imagination soared. I day dreamed about heroic magical adventures with friends and villians and monsters in fanciful places.

I grew up a right brain dreamer lost and out of place in a left-brain world and became a storyteller travelling the US and the world entertaining, educating, and challenging audiences with my stories.

I told stories to school children, adult leadership classes, as therapy to the wounded, and on the radio but I never had a desire to write until old friends, former classmates, and my son encouraged me. Thus, a new journey of dreaming and writing suspenseful, magical, action-packed fantasy began.
